Graphic Designer // RIPT Apparel - Chicago, IL // April 2017 - Present
RIPT Apparel is a website offering three outsourced designs every day to be printed and shipped on a variety of applications such as t-shirts, tote bags, and posters. These designs are only available for 24 hours and are unique mashups of pop-culture references. RIPT Apparel is a small team, where my duties include creating all content for social media and online promotional material. Primarily brainstorming concepts for upcoming events or sales through our website and executing these ideas. I'm familiar with the preproduction side of screen printing though most of my daily tasks require me to manage incoming artwork, server file organization, and our weekly internal material.
Graphic Designer // Victory Records - Chicago, IL // October 2015 - April 2017
Working on a team of five in the New Media department of Victory Records has taught me to use my peers as a tool in promoting bands for the label. My duties primarily focus on promotion of the band and label through tools such as an online web store, social media, and printed advertisement. In-house screen printing is also an available resource where I set up files for print, make mock-ups of designs, and proof all printed material.
Graphic Designer // Freelance - Midwest // August 2012 - Present
As a freelance graphic designer I consistently maintain a clean and organized work life and work with people and businesses to create a variety of visual expressions. My work is diverse in that my projects range from business identities, logos, product packaging, promotional material such as large scale posters, and video work. I proudly use all my own photography and am constantly teaching myself new skills to better improve my work.
